Gladiator Builds — Stigmas, Stats & Rotation

One PvE Stigma core, one set of stat priorities, the PvP swaps that actually matter — all cross-checked against what top Global Gladiators run.

Build focus: Melee bruiser — sustain-backed AoE cleave
How to read this: the Stigma sets below mirror what top-sampled level 45 players on Global actually run (armory data snapshot Oct 22, 2026 · Global patch of Oct 13–14). Builds shift with patches — re-check after every balance update, and treat any tier claim as consensus, not gospel.

Gladiator PvE Stigma core (4 slots — open at levels 22, 27, 32, 37)

StigmaWhat it does & why it's here
Zikel's Blessing+20% Attack and +100 Accuracy for 10s on a 120s cooldown — stack your whole burst inside this window.
Lunge StanceRaises Combat Speed for its duration, so every skill in the rotation fires faster.
Rage BurstBig hit that lowers the target's Attack and gives you +10% PvE Damage Boost. Opens the rotation.
Focused BlockUse at the start of fights for the party damage boost — this is the set the most Global players run.
Leveling plan: take every Stigma you keep to level 5 first (5 points each, unlocks the first Specialty), then push your main Stigma to 10 and 15 before the rest — the 4- and 8-point bands are where Stigma Shards run dry. Swapping Stigmas is blocked in combat: switch between pulls, not mid-fight.

Skill priorities & rotation

Push Overhead Slam first (Specialty 12 = guaranteed Critical Hit, 16 = no cooldown), then Rending Blow. Ruinous Blow and Sword Aura Rampage can wait until the main loop already works.

Rotation: Open with Rage Burst → repeat Overhead Slam during the window → weave Rending Blow between → Keen Strike when MP runs dry → Crushing Wave / Leaping Slam for packs. A macro of Rage Burst → Overhead Slam → Rending Blow → Keen Strike smooths early play; keep buffs, Defiance and movement skills on manual keys.

Stat priority

Accuracy first — until every attack lands, extra damage is wasted. Then Attack → Critical Hit, with Front Attack Damage Boost as the substat to hunt on gear (Gladiator fights from the front, and its passives reward it).

PvP swaps

Swap to Blade Toss, Lifestealing Blade and Forced Restraint for Rage Burst-era openers. Open with Blade Toss or Leaping Slam → Mocking Blade knockdown → Overhead Slam + Rage Burst. Press Defiance the moment CC lands. Hunt healers and backline DPS.

Build traps to avoid

  • Spreading skill points evenly instead of maxing Overhead Slam and Rending Blow first
  • Standing behind the boss — Gladiator passives and Front Attack bonuses want you in front
  • Automating burst and defensive skills into macros; keep them manual for timing

Gladiator build FAQ

What are the best Gladiator Stigmas in AION 2 Global?

The most-run set is Focused Block, Zikel's Blessing, Rage Burst and Lunge Stance — roughly 27% of sampled level 45 Gladiators run exactly it. Zikel's Blessing's burst window is the piece the rotation is built around.

Which stats should a Gladiator prioritize?

Accuracy until every attack lands, then Attack and Critical Hit. Front Attack Damage Boost is the best gear substat because Gladiator fights from the front.

Is there a Gladiator macro?

Yes: Rage Burst → Overhead Slam → Rending Blow → Keen Strike with short delays. Keep Rage Burst's buff timing, Defiance and movement skills on manual keys.
