One PvE Stigma core, one set of stat priorities, the PvP swaps that actually matter — all cross-checked against what top Global Rangers run.
| Stigma | What it does & why it's here |
|---|---|
| Vaizel's Authority | +20% Attack for 10s, castable while moving. Your first pick with every Stigma point. |
| Bow of Blessing | Raises Critical Hit and Accuracy — stack it with Vaizel's Authority before Deadshot. |
| Explosive Arrow | Strong damage with a bonus against slowed or rooted targets — pairs naturally with Snare Shot. |
| Supporting Fire | Summons an orb that fires at your target and heals you. (Griffon Arrow is the AoE + burn alternative.) |
Push Deadshot to 20 first — it is the class's decisive heavy shot. Early Specialties that matter: Snipe (MP restore), Tempest Shot (less MP / more damage vs fewer targets), Deadshot (MP removed / +30% Skill Speed). Ranger runs dry fast without the MP picks — they are not optional.
Rotation: Leveling order for Stigmas: Vaizel's Authority → Bow of Blessing 1 → Explosive Arrow 5 → Supporting Fire 10 → Vaizel's and Bow of Blessing to 5 → all five to 10. In play: mark with Marking Shot, snare with Snare Shot, then unload into the slowed target — Explosive Arrow's bonus against impaired targets is the core multiplier.
Accuracy first, Attack Speed early for rotation feel. In dungeons: Critical Hit, Accuracy, Attack Power. Stop stacking Accuracy once attacks always land — past the threshold it is wasted. Prioritize Eye of Focus substats, then Hunter's Resolve for crit damage.
Swap Arrow Storm (Stagger pressure) and a second offensive Stigma in for Supporting Fire and Griffon Arrow. Add Resistance and HP — defensive stats matter once gap-closers reach you.
Bow of Blessing, Vaizel's Authority, Explosive Arrow and Supporting Fire — about 25% of sampled Rangers run exactly it. Griffon Arrow is the accepted AoE swap for Supporting Fire.
Accuracy first, then Attack Speed early and Critical Hit for dungeons. Stop adding Accuracy once attacks always land — every point past the threshold is wasted.
The MP-restoring Specialties on Snipe and Tempest Shot are not optional in early progression. Pick them before damage Specialties and the problem disappears.
