Spiritmaster Guide — AION 2 Global (Season 1)
Two characters for the price of one — your spirit tanks, heals or damages while you stack damage-over-time from safety.
Is Spiritmaster right for you?
Why players pick it
- The best solo class on Global. Every consensus source agrees: the spirit pets do the dangerous work while you apply DoTs from range. Soloing content meant for groups is realistic.
- Damage that never stops. Damage-over-time keeps ticking while you reposition, kite or manage the pet — the damage graph is smooth where burst classes are spiky.
- A flexible pet toolbox. Different spirits tank, deal damage or support. Choosing the right one per fight is the class's decision layer.
- Strong in 1v1 PvP. Pet plus DoT pressure wears down most duelists who cannot burst you first.
Know before you commit
- A real learning curve. You are playing two characters: your own rotation plus pet control. Early on, the pet dies uselessly or pulls extra mobs.
- Ceiling in group damage. Two lists rate its PvE damage S; one drops it to B for consistency. In organized groups you are solid, rarely spectacular.
- PvP burst vulnerability. Classes that delete you inside one stun window beat you before the DoTs matter.
Best fit: Solo players, off-hours play and anyone who likes battlefield control
No take-backs: Global has no class change, and Stigma, Skill Points and enhancement materials are all invested in one character. Deleting a character now carries a 24-hour wait — rerolling is possible, but planning first is cheaper.
Leveling 1–45 as Spiritmaster
Follow the yellow Episode quests — they carry ~80% of early XP. Activate every Kibelisk you pass for fast travel, equip quest gear immediately, and don't enhance gear you'll replace within five levels.
Stigma plan for Spiritmaster: Build around Elemental Fusion and the DoT engine, then pet-specific Stigmas that match your main spirit. Slots open at level 22, 27, 32 and 37. Korean-language guides call this class Elementalist — same class, different client naming.

The level 37–45 stretch finishes the Episode and Ascension chains; Ascension unlocks zones, dungeons, Stigmas and the Daevanion system, so don't skip it. The Season 1 Global cap is 45 (Korea/Taiwan are at 50 — ignore KR build guides for now).
Spiritmaster at the level 45 cap
The comfort pick for solo endgame farming, and a dependable DPS in groups. Gear ladder is standard: Regional Quests → Sealed Dungeons → Strongholds → Empyrean Traces → Conquest Expeditions, with 2,800 Item Level unlocking Abyssal Forge: Ludra.
Spiritmaster FAQ
Is Spiritmaster the best solo class in AION 2?
Yes — it is the one point every tier list and guide agrees on. The summon does the front-line work while you damage-over-time from safety.
Is Spiritmaster the same as Elementalist?
Yes. Korean guides translate the class as Elementalist; NC's English client calls it Spiritmaster. Its internal armory name is Elementalist too.
Is pet management hard?
It is the class's learning curve — expect the first ten levels to feel busy while pet control becomes muscle memory. After that it is automatic.
What weapon does Spiritmaster use?
An orb, paired with a summon-and-DoT kit rather than direct-damage spells.
